About the Quantity Surveyor Role:

You'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial management and commercial control across a variety of installation and refurbishment projects.

You will take ownership of all commercial aspects of your allocated projects, ensuring financial targets are met and contracts are administered efficiently. This is an office-based role, requiring a presence in the London office at least 3 days per week, with full-time in-office required during the first 3-6 months as part of the onboarding and training period.

Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage valuations and applications for payment
  • Expedite certification and drive cash collection (including retentions)
  • Liaise closely with Project and Site Managers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Produce detailed cash flow forecasts based on programme and site progress
  • Update draft final accounts regularly and submit with valuations
  • Ensure robust cost-to-complete tracking and defend against margin erosion
  • Maintain complete and accurate contract records, both digitally and on-site
  • Contribute to commercial best practices across the wider business

What We're Looking For: Quantity Surveyor:

  • Experience in a stand-alone Quantity Surveyor role
  • Background in lift engineering, construction, or technical project delivery
  • Excellent knowledge of valuations, final accounts, and cost control
  • Confident working independently and managing multiple project budgets
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Proficient in Excel and project costing tools
  • Knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., JCT, NEC) desirable

What's on Offer: Quantity Surveyor:

  • Competitive salary £55,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience)
  • £5,000 Car allowance
  • Supportive onboarding process during first 6 months
  • Long-term role in a stable and growing global lift engineering company
  • Opportunities to develop within a niche and respected lift industry sector
