Basic Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Responsible For: Stairlifts components/ stock control
Commutable from: Leeds, Harrogate, Hull, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Bradford, Sheffield, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Wakefield, York, Rawdon.
REClifts is now looking for an experienced Warehouse Engineer or a senior Stairlift Engineer to run a Warehousing Operation in the Yorkshire area.

The Role Purpose:
- An excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Engineer to manage the logistics and stock control of a thriving stairlift engineering operation.
- You will be making sure the electrical and mechanical stair lift components are ordered, in a timely manner and successfully distributed nationally..
The Ideal Warehouse Engineer:
- The suitable candidate will be highly motivated with a mechanical aptitude & the ability to solve problems.
- NVQ 2 or equivalent qualified Stairlift Engineer.
- Proven experience of the installation or service repair of stairlift equipment.
- An eye for detail and confidence to work alone
- Problem-solving abilities and able to use your own initiative
- A full UK Driving Licence - Essential
- Relevant Health & Safety Qualification e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH - Desired
- Electrical qualifications/18th Edition - Desired
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in supervising operational staff / Lift Engineers Desired
- Responsible for logistics
- Purchasing and negotiation of parts
- Strip down stairlifts and rebuilt
- Stock management software (OGL)
- Stairlift refurbishment, assembly, mounting gearboxes, mounting kits to valves, organising shop floor, stock taking & stock management, keeping a close eye on work in progress,
- Packing & despatching stocked products,
- Forklift Training provided if not already qualified
- Provide advice and maintain an up-to-date expert lift industry awareness and knowledge
- Assist with audits undertaken by relevant approved bodies.
- Organising workloads to achieve maximum quality and productivity to deliver the service plan priorities.
