Basic Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Overtime + Benefits

REClifts is seeking 1 x Escalator Engineer (Service & Repairs) to join a highly reputable Lift & Escalator Engineering firm in the Nottingham area.
This is a permanent, full-time role, ideal for an experienced Escalator Engineer with a strong background in routine service, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Commutable from: Nottingham, Derby, Newark-on-Trent, Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Chesterfield, Ilkeston, Hucknall
Ideal Escalator Engineer Candidate:
- NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering - Essential
- Full UK driving licence - Essential
- 2+ years' experience working as an Escalator Engineer
- Confident working independently on servicing, breakdowns, and minor repairs
- Comfortable working on a shared on-call rota
- Good customer communication skills and proactive attitude to safety and service
Key Responsibilities of an Escalator Engineer:
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on various escalator packages
- Diagnose faults and complete minor repairs and replacements
- Keep accurate service records and escalate technical issues as needed
- Provide excellent on-site customer service and support
- Adhere to all health & safety guidelines and company standards
- Participate in on-call rota for emergency breakdowns
