Reporting into the Head of Logistics, this role would suit a Warehouse Operations Manager, Warehouse Manager or Logistics Manager with experience of managing fast-paced and dynamic operations.
THE ROLE:
- Management of the day to day operations of the site - including Pick/Pack, Despatch, Returns, Quality Control and Inventory.
- Overall responsibility for approximately 60 people.
- Management of a budget of £2 million P&L.
- Engagement, Coaching and Mentoring of your team.
- Operational implementation of a new WMS system.
- Suggesting & Leading CI within your operation.
- Health & Safety for your site.
- The operation has great scope to grow & improve - so you will have your chance to leave your stamp on it.
THE PERSON:
- Warehouse Operations Manager, Warehouse Manager or Logistics Manager with demonstrable experience of improving an FMCG Warehouse.
- Overall management responsibility for at least 50 heads or more.
- Multi-client experience is an advantage.
- WMS implementation experience.
- Able to coach & develop your First Line Managers.
- Front-foot & hands-on leadership style.
- Able to liaise from shop-floor to Board level.
- Keen to leave a lasting impact and legacy on the wider business.
