RECLifts has a new and very exciting opportunity to join a reputable lift engineering company as Trainee Lift Engineer (Re-roping Assistant).
REClifts is looking for a Junior Passenger Lift Engineer or Lift Assistant with at least 6 months of experience assisting a qualified Lift Engineer in the UK. If you have experience in lift installation, service, or mechanical work, this will be advantageous for your application.
This is a hands-on role involving the re-roping of passenger lifts. The position requires good physical fitness and the ability to carry and handle heavy equipment safely.

Key Responsibilities of the Trainee Lift Engineer:
Support the Qualified Lift Engineer with various duties as directed by the Lead Lift Engineer, including re-roping and assisting with the movement and installation of lift components and heavy equipment.
Requirements for this Trainee Lift Engineer position:
- Clean UK Driving Licence - Essential
- Full eligibility to work in the UK - Essential
- CSCS Card - Desirable
- ERO202 - Health & Safety Lift Engineering - Desirable
- Previous experience lift installations or lift service, repair, callout background - Desirable
- Good physical fitness and ability to handle heavy loads - Essential
