Role - Technical Surveyor and Project Manager (Commercial Solar)
Salary - £55k - £60k+ Car or Car Allowance + Fuel Card + Expenses
Hours - Monday to Friday (09 - 17:30)
Midands Based with monthly visits to London

The Role
As Technical Surveyor and PM will report to the UK Lead PM and provide complete site surveys to support the construction programme as well as Project Managing rooftop PV construction by contractors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Surveys of potential solar PV projects
- Report writing using web app platforms
- Management and coordination of structural surveys
- Using laser survey devices
- Drone operator and using photogrammetry to generate building 3D
- models
- Surveys of existing PV systems to include functional testing
- Issuing NICEIC certificates as appropriate
- Assisting with project development and contractor communications
- Project management of roof top solar projects including contractor
- performance management
- Quality inspections
- Safety audits
The Person
- Be a qualified electrician.
- Be competent in the design of industrial LV systems including
- metering and grid connections.
- Have installed solar PV systems in the past.
- Spot and resolve issues before anyone knew there was an issue.
- Be able to continually refine and improve processes.
- Be proficient with MS Sharepoint.
- Be highly proficient with the full suite of MS applications with
- emphasis on xls.
- Be experienced and competent in operating CRM systems.
- Have a retentive eye for detail and consistency and have the
- personal drive to ensure others follow your lead.
- Be able to organise and manage large engineering design documentsets.
