The Role of Quality Engineer
- Working within all areas of the business
- Improving processes
- Carrying out NCR reporting
- Carrying out root cause analysis
- Maintaining the company quality standards
- Conducting internal and external audits
- Ensuring compliance across all business functions
- Working in a small engineering division
The Right Quality Engineer
- Experience of ISO 9001
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Use of 8Ds, 5Ys and other root cause analysis tools
- Experience in internal auditing
- Written and verbal communication skills (report writing and communicating problems)
- Can manage own daily workload
- Experience with Machined parts and welded products
- An Automotive background would be advantageous
- Counterbalance FLT License an advantage
