The Business

Specialising in the design of Commercial Solar Plants, ranging in size from 100KW to 3MW, the business supply to a wide variety of end users, including Manufacturing Plants, Retail and Commercial Sites, plus large Accomodation sites and Hotels.

Their systems are fully bespoke to their Client's needs and can encorporate Battery Storage, EV Charging, and Custom Software for customers to track their Energy Usage, and feed to power back to and from the Grid, and savings and earnings from exporting to the Grid.

The Role

Projects will vary in length depending on the size of the installation, from 1 week to 8 weeks for larger projects. This will require some nights away depending on the location.

The Project Manager will need to liaise with the relevant Customer contact to ensure the Installation Teams have full access as and when required, and to keep them apprised as to how the Project is progressing, and any potential delays or issues that arise. The point of contact will vary greatly depending on the size of the business, and can range from a Facilities or Engineering Manager up to an MD or CEO, so the Project Manager will need to be adept in differing comunication styles depending on Seniority.

This will include inspection of work carried out, H&S, system testing, and final inspection and sign off. Any faults or issues found will need to be rectified before final sign off.
