Lift Service & Call-Out Engineer | North West London
REClifts is proud to be partnering with a major player in the UK lift industry to recruit an experienced Service & Call-Out Engineer. Our client is a leading independent specialist with an enviable reputation for technical excellence and a genuine “engineer-first” culture.
Due to the expansion of their portfolio across North West London, they are looking for a reliable, NVQ3-qualified Engineer to manage a high-density service route.
The Opportunity
This isn’t just about “fire-fighting” breakdowns. You will take over a well-maintained portfolio of commercial and residential units. The focus here is on quality over quantity—our client ensures engineers have the time required to properly maintain equipment, significantly reducing the frequency of call-outs and stress.
Key Responsibilities
Preventative Maintenance:
Carrying out scheduled service visits to the highest safety standards.
Rapid Response:
Attending breakdowns and entrapments within your dedicated patch.
Fault Finding:
Using the latest diagnostic tools and your own expertise to identify and resolve complex electrical and mechanical faults.
Customer Service:
Acting as the face of the company, providing clear updates to site managers and residents.
Candidate Requirements
Qualification:
Must hold an
NVQ Level 3 in Lift Maintenance & Repair
(or equivalent).
Experience:
Proven track record in a dedicated service and call-out role.
Technical Skills:
Strong electrical fault-finding skills and the ability to interpret complex circuit diagrams.
Compliance:
A full UK driving licence and a commitment to strict Health & Safety protocols.
