Lift Service & Call Out Engineer | West London

RECliftsis currently recruiting for amajor UK lift contractorlooking to strengthen their presence acrossWest London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a service-focused engineer to take ownership of a premium, high-density route covering some of the capital’s most prestigious residential and commercial contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Routine Maintenance:

    Executing high-quality service visits in line with SAFed and manufacturer guidelines.

  • Minor Repairs:

    Identifying and rectifying defects (e.g., replacing rollers, door operators, or safety components) before they lead to breakdowns.

  • Call-Outs & Fault Finding:

    Attending reactive calls and using your diagnostic expertise to return lifts to service safely and efficiently.

  • Safety & Compliance:

    Ensuring all units meet LOLER requirements and maintaining accurate digital service logs via a company tablet.

Candidate Requirements

  • Essential:

    NVQ Level 3 in Lift Maintenance & Repair

    (or equivalent J-Module units).

  • Experience:

    Proven experience as a Service Engineer within the UK lift industry.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    Strong ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools (e.g., IMS, Blue Box).

  • Location:

    Based in or within easy commuting distance of West London.

  • Professionalism:

    Excellent communication skills, as you will be dealing with high-profile clients and property managers.
