Basic Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
On-Target Earnings: Up to £85,000+ per year
Standby Allowance: £900 per week

The Opportunity
REClifts is recruiting a skilled Lift Repair Engineer to join a leading independent lift engineering company, operating across Birmingham and the West Midlands. This is a field-based role focusing on lift breakdowns, diagnostics, and minor repairs across a dedicated local route of approx. 50-60 lifts.
This is not a routine service role - we're seeking an experienced lift professional who thrives on solving problems, getting lifts back up and running, and delivering first-time fixes wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to breakdowns and callouts on passenger and goods lifts
- Diagnose faults quickly and carry out repairs efficiently
- Order and fit replacement parts where necessary
- Participate in the out-of-hours standby rota
- Support and mentor junior engineers when needed
- Ensure all work is carried out to safety and quality standards
What You'll Need:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in lift repairs or modernisation
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in Lift Engineering
- Full UK driving licence
- Reside within a commutable distance of: Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Stafford, Leicester, Hinckley, Telford, Kidderminster, or Worcester
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills in a variety of lift types
