Lift Repair Engineer
Are you a skilled Lift Repair Engineer looking for your next challenge in London? We are seeking a professional and diligent individual to join our Service and Repair department to maintain high standards of business practice and client satisfaction.
The Role
In this role, you will carry out all aspects of lift repairs in accordance with current British and European Standards. You will report directly to the Repair Manager and work closely with operational teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Executing planned repair works, shutdowns, and addressing insurance defects.
Repairing and replacing door equipment.
Completing all re-rope configurations.
Changing motors, sheaves, and divertors.
Installing autodiallers, GSMs, and upgrading car/shaft lighting.
Mentoring and training apprentices.
Performing hydraulic and gear work (desirable).
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you must meet the following criteria:
Essential:
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in Lifts.
Experience:
At least 1+ years of relevant industry experience.
Knowledge:
A strong understanding of the latest British Standards for lifts.
Core Skills:
Ability to work under pressure, solve problems effectively, and communicate clearly across all levels.
Desirable:
Experience within the Social Housing sector.
Asbestos awareness training.
