REClifts is now looking for a NVQ 3 qualified Lift Engineer to join a global company offering flexibility, progression and stability. Ideally, the perfect candidate will be dual trained on both Lifts and Escalators or hold a EOR 204.
Lift Service Engineer Responsibilities:
- The aim of the role will be to efficiently manage your own service route. You will complete minor repairs on passenger lifts and goods lifts.
- Carry out the electrical and mechanical maintenance of all types of goods, passenger and service lifts and lifting equipment.
- Report service/repairs/defects to encourage improvements in lift equipment and safety.
- Complete maintenance schedules in accordance with agreed Service Contracts
- Participate in callout
Ideal Lift Engineer Candidate:
- Qualified NVQ 3 lift engineering discipline either service or installation - Essential
- EOR 204 - Safe access to Escalators
- Has at least 2 years experience - Essential
- UK Driving Licence - Essential
- Lives a commutable distance away from Newcastle or willing to relocate to this area
