Basic Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 On Target Earnings £90,000 per annum
Benefits: Performance-based yearly salary increases, NVQ 4 supplemented & encouraged after probation, clear and structured career progression to management if desired.
Additional Information: Unlimited overtime as a result of securing new service contracts, 33 days holiday, company pension, new van, all expenses covered, all tools provided, uniform provided.
REClifts is now recruiting for a Lift Engineer specialising in service repair (NVQ3 qualified or equivalent) to cover a geographical patch across Rotherham, Yorkshire. This very concentrated area of Rotherham requires a competent Lift Engineer. The engineering work will be scheduled minor repair work typical of a service route, such as lift car repairs, door repairs, shaft equipment, and motor room equipment.
Commutable from: Doncaster, Barnsley, Stockport, Chesterfield, Sheffield, Wickersley, Rawmarsh, Conisbrough, Worksop, Bawtry, Killamarsh, Swinton, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Batley.
The Lift Engineer Company: This independent lift engineering company provides both service and repair to passenger lifts of a variety of manufacturers.
The Lift Engineer Duties:
- Competent in fault-finding diagnostics on passenger lifts
- Capable of first-time fixes of passenger lifts.
- Participate in an on-call rota flexible either 1 in 4 or 1 in 8.
- As a Lift Engineer, you will complete minor repairs on passenger lifts.
- Report defective lifting equipment and order new parts accordingly.
Lift Engineer: Ideal Candidate:
- Currently working as a Lift Engineer specialising in service and repair or have transferable skills as a Lift Modernisation Engineer, Lift Installation Engineer, or Lift Repair Engineer.
- You must have at least two years of experience working on passenger lifts
- Hold a full UK Driving License and be willing to travel in this area advertised.
- Qualified to or above NVQ 3 (or equivalent) in a lift engineering discipline.
