REClifts has secured a new retained recruitment assignment which gives all applying candidates a better chance of success with limited competition. This exclusive opportunity in the lift industry is ideal for a proven Sales Coordinator familiar with working in a fast-paced sales environment.

Company: Due to their ongoing growth strategy, this leading lift components supplier to the lift industry in the UK is now actively seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the sales function of the business enabling the Senior Sales Executives and Sales Directors to get back out on the road conducting face to face sales-generating accelerated revenue for the rest of 2022.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upon customer order placement, the responsibility for ensuring all required information is passed to Headquarters & associated partners in a timely manner.
  • Coordination with Administration, Technical & Sales Management Teams to ensure that information transfer is both efficient and effective throughout all project stages.
  • Close communication with external customers and key personnel within the business & the UK, acting as the main channel of information flow.
  • Regular liaison with UK customers to ensure that progress-tracking is maintained at all stages of the order process from the initial point of inquiry to delivery.
  • Technical requirements from customer inquiries and consultant specifications,
  • The generation of quotations for the full range of Controller / Doors / Package Lift products from point of inquiry to customer submission.
  • Studying associated lift specifications to meet the project requirements.

Ideal Candidate:

  • An engineering background will be advantageous and knowledge of lift control systems or lift systems or even lift components is desirable. Full training is provided.
  • Appropriate Electrical experience, if possible Degree or HNC-qualified - Desirable
  • Excellent communication skills with a critical emphasis placed upon Customer Service and attention to detail - Essential
  • An honest and pragmatic approach with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • High levels of attention to detail in this role is crucial to the ongoing success of this company.
  • The skill sets to balance multiple projects and quotation tasks to ensure quick response times and support the effective sales process.
  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft packages - Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
  • Confidence to ask for assistance from a helpful team when this is required!
  • Full eligibility to work in the UK - Essential
  • Previous experience delivering a Sales Coordinator role in the lift industry - Preferred
