RECfinancial is working in partnership with a national manufacturing company who have a business based in Leicestershire in their search to appoint a Financial Director to one of its largest business units.

This exciting number two role will be based at an impressive office which is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby, Northamptonshire and Coventry / Warwickshire.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Director of this 500 million plus turnover business, this Financial Director role will have a team of Finance Managers reporting to it and indirectly a team of 15+ employees. The role will be responsible for supporting the Senior Finance Director, Managing Director and the SLT in the smooth running of the business.

The role will be responsible for owning the numbers for the business, group reporting, preparing and presenting the board pack, driving the Finance Manager to meet deadlines, budgeting and forecasting for the business, period reporting, capital projects and supporting improvements in process and the quality of information supplied to the business.

They are keen to hire a candidate who has the potential to move into a Senior Finance Director role in the group in the future and who is looking for a long term role with a progressive business. It's likely that you will already be in a Financial Controller or Finance Director / FD type role with a mix of experience covering both management and technical accounting.

It's essential to have at least 5 years post qualified experience in either the CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification. Experience is preferred from the manufacturing sector.

You will have the ability to foster relationships across the business and be comfortable working cross functionally, having a collaborative approach.

The role has a salary range of between £110,000 and £130,000 plus a car allowance and a bonus.
