RECfinancial are currently shortlisting exclusively for our Leicester based client, for a full-time permanent Credit Controller role. This is an exciting opportunity to join this rapidly expanding award-winning business.
This position would be suited to a detail-oriented and organised individual who will be reporting into the General Manager. Due to the business growing they are looking to expand their busy team.
Main role of Credit Controller
The successful candidate will be required to chase overdue payments in line with company policy, generating reports and resolving all payment issues. Escalating any problems as and when required.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant
- Following processes which lead to customers, to make timely payments.
- Excellent computer and organisational abilities, and be proficient in data entry.
- Strong attention to detail in order to record payments and keep records accurate and up to date.
- Good communicator with excellent customer service skills to liaise with our customers regularly.
- Chasing overdue payments and escalating advanced debt.
- Taking payments over the phone, sending reminders to customers when payments are upcoming and overdue
- Generating and analysing reports of missed payments
- Resolving payment issues and effectively managing payment plans
- Updating customer accounts accordingly including performing data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
Skills and experience:
- IT Skills; including Excel, BACS, Exchequer or similar
- Process driven
- Excellent attention to detail
- Personable with excellent communication skills
