REClifts is now looking for an experienced CAD designer to join a global Lift Engineering company on a full-time basis. This role is perfect for a CAD Draughtsman, Design Engineer, Junior Design Engineer, Project Co-ordinator with Auto CAD experience, Junior Project Engineer, Juinor Project Manager with CAD experience
CAD Designer Responsibilities:
- AutoCAD and/or PDF writer to prepare lift arrangement drawings for customers' approval.
- Respond to any technical queries regarding our approval drawings, seeking specialized assistance from others if necessary.
- Revise drawings to suit any changes required during the approval process or when approved for manufacture.
- Update CRM with contract progression information and dates.
- Approve lift products for manufacture on Electronic Ordering System (EOS).
- Approve other lift products for manufacture via email to the supplier.
- Update Excel databases with contract information and progression.
- Update library of Typical Drawings for use by Sales.
- Liaise with customers during the approval process to ensure key dates are met, eg latest drawings approval date to meet the required installation date.
- Liaise with the installation department during the approval process regarding the installation date.
CAD Designer Requirements:
- Proficient in using 3D CAD software SolidWorks and 2D CAD software Radan.
- Previous experience in designing in SolidWorks - preferable.
- Proficient with Excel, and other Microsoft applications.
