My client are one of the industry leading provider of merchant solutions, focused on delivering card payment solutions that meet the needs of business across the globe.
The role is a commission based role only (no basic salary), with potentially the best competitive commission in the Merchant Services market. The roles are Nationwide, so you have completely autonomy of geographical locations which you choose to target - you can be based anywhere in the UK.
This is an opportunity for an Independent Card Payment Sales Consultant who wishes to have the flexibility to manage their own diary and schedule, whilst having the drive to earn commission in a flexible sales environment. As you will be working from home and managing your own diary, it is important that you are able to demonstrate an ability desire to be self-efficient and also show a proven track record of delivering and selling similar payment solutions to a similar clientele.
- Leveraging partner relationships to source Card Payments sales opportunities across endless client market. From small or medium sized business (such as local shops, restaurants, gyms, beauty spas, travel agents etc), to major national brand, you will be responsible for spotting opportunities to sell our innovative payment products and comprehensive online tools designed to help businesses increase efficiency, reduce operating costs and drive revenue growth.
- Successful Card Payments Sales Consultants will be adept at generating their own leads in this business to business environment (B2B).
- The position will also be responsible for retaining clients by building relationships and growing portfolios through relationship management and cross consulting. As a member of our Regional Sales force, you will always represent the values of embodying the highest ethical standards and treating others with dignity, respect, and genuine concern.
- Professional experience selling B2B Merchant Payment services for similar houses ideally. Whilst Merchant Services experience is useful, the client will also consider people who have transferrable Sales expertise.
- Prior experience in a quota driven self-sourcing sales environment for small to medium size clients.
- Highly self-motivated, personable, aggressive, energetic, and creative .
- Ability to listen to clients, understand their needs and determine how we can help them achieve their goals.
- Demonstrated success in achievement of aggressive sales goals.
- Technologically savvy; comfortable with tablet and cloud-based solutions and able to apply technology to help grow small businesses
- Strong cold-calling skills and ability to self-source leads.
- Self-source mentality with drive to identify and close on opportunities
- Ability to develop a plan to effectively build pipeline and generate top line revenue growth
