Building Services Design Engineer
Salary: £50k to £60K range
Hours of Work: 42.5 hours a week (08.30 - 5.00pm includes 1 hr paid lunch)
Contract: Permanent
Place of Work: Dover, Sevenoaks, Shepway, and Thanet, the boroughs of Ashford, Dartford, Gravesham, Maidstone, Swale, Tonbridge and Malling, and Tunbridge Wells, and the city of Canterbury

Building Services Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Meeting with clients and design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements.
- Carrying out site surveys to determine requirements and to assist with pricing for installation works with varying degrees of design requirements.
- Conducting research to inform the design and engineering methods required for the mechanical systems.
- Documenting the design process.
- Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Liaising with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence.
- Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals.
- Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, design trends, and engineering best practices.
- Present proposals to clients and external project team members.
- Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering/relevant degree
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer.
- Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.
- The ability to stay abreast of advancements in technology and engineering design trends.
