RECfinancial are currently recruiting for this growing dynamic North West Leicestershire based Practice, in the search for an experienced Bookkeeper on a part time basis.
This role can be split over 3 full or 5 part days, whichever suits you.
So, what's the purpose of the role?
Reporting to the Manager, you will support all aspects of general accounting and finance within the business to contribute to the achievement of financial objectives.
What are the main aspects of the Bookkeepers role?
- Bookkeeping to trial balance ideal
- VAT Returns
- Processing payments via BACS
- Knowledge of debits/credits
- Year End processes
- Dealing with HMRC
- Data processing
- Liaising with clients, partners and Managers to ensure all information is received correctly
- Bank reconciliations
- Knowledge of Xero would be ideal
Who do we want for the role?
- Minimum of 2 years within a similar role.
- Previous Bookkeeping experience or similar would be ideal
- Accountancy Practice experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given
- Effective communication skills are a must
- Excellent planning, organisation & deadline time keeping skills,
- Familiar with in Xero accounting software would be ideal but not essential
