We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals to join our team as Smart Communications Technicians. Full training is provided.
What you'll do
- Visit customer sites to install and set up smart communications equipment on gas and electric meters
- Fit devices such as communications hubs, automated meter readers, modems, and SIM cards
- Work closely with our back-office support team to ensure installations are completed accurately and on time
- Support customers by answering basic questions and ensuring their equipment works correctly
What we're looking for
- Willingness to learn new skills (training provided at our Bolton or Barnsley training centre)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic hands-on or practical ability (DIY experience is a plus)
- Positive, reliable, and professional attitude
- Full Clean UK Driver's Licence
- Own small van or car for attending appointments
- Android smartphone for accessing installation apps
