Salary: circa £36,000 + Bonuses, Standby Allowance, Call-Out Rate, Overtime, Travel-Time
On target Earnings: circa £50,000 per annum.
Commutable from: Oxford, Gloucester, Bridgewater, Chepstow, Swindon, Chippenham, Bath, Clevedon, Weston-Super-Mare, Bridgewater, Cheltenham, Stroud
Area: Primarily throughout the Bristol and Cheltenham area but as the work is to be shared with other Engineers preference will be given to the areas nearest to your home location. Work in adjoining areas may be required as work dictates.

Hours: 40 per week flexible to suit most Engineers work 8.30am to 5.00pm, plus overtime. Participation in an out of hours on call emergency service will be required

REClifts is now looking for 1 x Service Repair Call-Out Engineer to work for a market leader in the mobility industry. The aim of the role will be to successfully manage your own designated and well-managed service route maintaining specialist mobility and stairlift lifting equipment.
The successful Mobility Engineer will be familiar with working the West Midlands area of England and will be comfortable with working the call-out rota and happy to work overtime from time to time to keep on top of the high demand for work and growing service portfolio.

The Role:

  • Servicing testing and some installation of a wide range of medical and home care equipment, primarily patient lifting equipment - hoists, but also including physio equipment, specialist baths, beds, stair and through floor lifts.
  • Servicing key contracts such as: NHS, social services, health authorities and private sector residential homes.

The Company:

  • Training on all mobility lifting product
  • cts will be given in house and on supplier courses.
  • As a company supplies services to the elderly you are required to request references from the Criminal Reference Bureau (enhanced level).
  • Specialist tools and equipment will be supplemented and remain the property of employer

The Candidate:

  • Professional and competent and Multi-Skilled Mobility Engineer with a strong amount of knowledge of both mechanical and electrical components of all mobility engineering with the ability to fault find efficiently with 1st time fixes.
  • He/she should be able to work on their own initiative, be clean and tidy in carrying out their work, be Safety conscious, pay attention to detail
  • Keen eye for detail with keeping accurate and legible records.
  • Tetanus and Hepatitis B vaccinated - Essential
  • Must be physically fit, as the lifting and moving of Equipment will be necessary within the guidance of Health and Safety - Essential
  • UK driving License, preferably clean - Essential.
