REClifts is now looking for 1 x Lift Service Engineer to manage a defined area service route that is well-maintained. This role is a Service Engineer role in central London.
This role is to manage 80 units only in central London and the perfect role for a junior Lift Engineer eager to learn the ropes with full support, coaching and on the job training to pick up the role of a Service Repair Engineer without the worry of going onto a callout rota with little experience the team are ready to train you.
This opportunity will also suit a Lift Engineer towards the latter stage of their career and does not wish to be dragged all over London completing complex repairs and multiple call-outs and want to keep on top of a well-managed route in Westminster.
Hours: 8-5 - 40hr wk, Can be flexible to suit you!
The Role:
- Efficiently manage your own service route. You will complete minor repairs on passenger lifts.
- The successful Lift Service Engineer will be familiar with working in the Central London
- If you enjoy call-out there is plenty to keep you busy. However, if you are an Engineer that prefers to commit to less Call-out hours or none at all, then this opportunity is also for you as there is already a capable call-out team in place to provide callout support for Lift Service Engineers.
- Carry out the electrical & mechanical maintenance on a range of passenger lift manufacturers
- Report service / repairs / defects to encourage improvements in lift equipment and safety.
- Complete maintenance schedules in accordance with agreed Service Contracts
Ideal Candidate:
- Has at least 1 years experience and part qualified NVQ 3
- Qualified to or above NVQ3 (or equivalent) in a lift engineering discipline.
- Lives a commutable distance away from Westminster Central London
