REClifts is now working with an independent automatic and industrial door company that is on the lookout for a proven new salesperson that has a proven background in an engineering sales environment. The salesperson will have experience in selling either service contracts of new installations of either lifting equipment or similar automation equipment. Ideally this salesperson will have sold automatic doors and industrial doors or loading bays and dock levellers. These sales can either be service contracts with repair works or full replacement, modernisation's and new installations or a combination of these sales within a relevant industry.

The successful candidate must have a proven technical sales background selling in a relevant industry. They must be able to evidence defined routes to market and examples of the types of clients that they can bring to the table.

  • Are you fed up of working for a doors company that does not adequately incentive you?
  • Can you hit the ground running selling automatic or industrial doors?
  • Would you like to earn in excess of £5,000 per month in commission?

Ideal Candidate:

  • Cover the whole of the North West of England. Happy to travel and where appropriate overnight stays will be required but supplemented by the employer.
  • Generating and building upon sales leads (including new business development).
  • Maximise sales opportunities / Develop customer relationships
  • Follow up and ensure closing of sales opportunities,
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure sales success.
  • Analyse tenders and technical enquiries.
  • Complete detailed site surveys / Compile quotes.
  • Technical knowledge of either automatic or industrial doors and associated equipment
  • A proven sales record achieved from new sales and repeat business.
  • An electrical or mechanical qualification and or previous experience - Desirable
  • Full driving licence & willingness to travel is - Essential
  • Sales against set sales targets.
  • Sales analysis and reporting to the Managing Manager, including forecasting and pipeline management.
